The room was small and had just the basics, as you’d expect from a budget hotel, but the bed was very comfortable and the view was great. The service was excellent, with someone always at the desk, attentive and smiling. Breakfast was very good, as were the restaurant and bar. The location is excellent, close to everything and beside an alley with great pubs and restaurants. I highly recommend it.

A great value option for a short stay. The room was fresh, lovely and spotless, with adequate facilities. Staff were lovely, and breakfast was a great buffet. Good location too. I’d definitely recommend it and use it again.

Everything is within walking distance thanks to the central location. The hotel has a bit of an older Ibis style and could use some renovation. Breakfast is a very basic UK-style offering, so don’t expect anything special, though it’ll fill you up. Check-in didn’t feel welcoming at all. No smile, no conversation, nothing. I felt unwelcome. Thankfully, for the rest of the stay the receptionist was a really friendly guy.

The central location made it easy to get around Aberdeen, with shops, restaurants and transport links close by. My room was spotless, modern and comfortable, a nice place to unwind after a long day. Staff were friendly, professional and always happy to help, and service stayed consistently high throughout. It was excellent value for money. I had a fantastic stay at the ibis hotel in Aberdeen and would definitely return. I highly recommend ibis Aberdeen to anyone visiting the city.

We picked this place for our anniversary and were welcomed with a thoughtful note, chocolates and drinks. It really made the stay more enjoyable, thanks to the Ibis team. We’ll be back! The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and staff provided lovely service. The location was perfect for us, with shops, entertainment, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Great value for money.
