Loch Lomond Hotel

The kitchen wasn’t serving meals, which left the bar space unused, though there are plenty of places to eat very close by. We’d come as a couple for two nights. The room was clean and a good size, and the bathroom was spotless too, though it only had toilet paper, shower gel and hand soap. Staff were friendly, knew the local activities and gave great service. We’d stay again if the kitchen reopens.

Other guests’ doors slamming in the morning woke us up, so the room doors could be quieter. The area is nice and handy for a boat trip, though it isn’t as pretty as Luss further up the Loch. For the price, the hotel was decent: the room was clean and small, but had what we needed. There are some nice bars and restaurants nearby. The pub’s opening hours were unusual, and breakfast wasn’t included in our room, though we could pay extra to have it at the pub, which seemed fair.

The restaurant wasn’t an option when we stayed, though they mentioned at booking that they plan to relaunch it, which should make future stays much better. That’s my only criticism. Service was very good and the rooms were clean. Brilliant stay, thanks.

The two ladies at the front desk really made our stay worthwhile. I’ve never had a hotel stay like it, those staff deserve a pay rise! The hotel was really nice and clean, and the restaurant was lovely. It’s in a very good area close to Loch Lomond. We absolutely loved our stay.
