Pontyclerc Farm House Bed And Breakfast

Waking up and visiting the donkeys was a highlight. The room was spotless and really comfortable, with thoughtful extras like a coffee machine, hot chocolate and bottled water. It's also a peaceful, handy base when you're having an install done by Cymru Camper Furniture, with somewhere relaxing to return to. Our host was wonderful. She was managing everything on her own while her husband was unwell, and still took such care with every detail, from check-in through to a great breakfast. We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back.

Breakfast was outstanding, and our hosts were such lovely company. We felt at home from the warm welcome, and our bicycles were safely kept under cover. The donkeys were a real pleasure to see. We'd love to visit again.

We really enjoyed our two nights here, though we wished we could have stayed longer. The peaceful, quiet setting was so relaxing, and we loved seeing the cute donkeys in the nearby paddock. The village, with its pubs and places to eat, is an easy walk away. We'd originally booked because we needed parking and a cooked breakfast, but the stay turned out even better than we'd expected. Booking directly meant I could talk through my needs by phone. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade jams too. It's a charming old farm building, converted while keeping its original character and features. The rooms were tastefully furnished, and the shower had excellent water pressure. I honestly think anyone booking at Pontyclerc Farm House will be pleased.

The location is beautiful, and Nigel and Jane were friendly and accommodating. We loved the donkeys too. Our room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated, and breakfast was excellent, especially the tasty homemade jams. We'd definitely return.
