The Kitchen at Feldon Valley is a lovely place to relax, with a warm, easygoing atmosphere. The food was tasty, clearly prepared with care, and there was a good range on the menu for a reasonable price. I’d go back for the food and setting, but service needs to flow better. We waited five minutes between getting a Diet Coke and a glass of wine, then waited a long time for someone to take our dessert order. I asked for a port, but they didn’t have that one, so I was left to choose another from the menu. The waitress didn’t come back, and when the desserts arrived I’d lost interest, which also cost them another drink order. Staff were polite, but the service felt slow and disjointed.

The food here is incredible, and the staff have always been so thoughtful about our halal needs. They’ve even sourced halal food ahead of our visits. We’ve stayed several times and every visit has been lovely. It’s a really cosy, special place in the Cotswolds, with some of the nicest people you’ll meet.

We had such a peaceful birthday break at Feldon Valley, with a really zen feel to the place. We found it on TikTok and booked one night, and had the best time. The food was lovely and the service great. We can’t wait to come back next year, thank you 🥰

The restaurant was so good we didn’t bother looking for somewhere else to eat. Both the food and the bar snacks were fab, and breakfast was lovely without being too much. Special mention for Ranj, who got sausages for our dog and sent us off with some lovely treats at checkout. She was fab! We had a wonderful two nights at Feldon Valley. The lodges were gorgeous, though next time I’d love a view of the golf course. We’ll definitely visit again, maybe in summer so we can enjoy the outdoor areas.

We paid £52 for the New Year’s Eve three-course set menu, but the evening was extremely disappointing. The venison Wellington we both ordered came out cold, tough, and so gamey it was inedible. Neither of us ate it, and it was sent back. Management’s response made things worse. They said the kitchen was closed and offered only dessert, even though we hadn’t eaten our main course. There was no replacement or refund offered then, and no real effort to sort it out. The bill also included bread and Prosecco that had been advertised as complimentary. After more arguing, they removed the Prosecco and mains, but we still paid £80 for what amounted to a starter and dessert. The food was poor, and the way the complaint and bill were handled was even worse. For a New Year’s Eve meal at that price, the customer care was unacceptable. We wouldn’t return or recommend it.
