Breakfast was fab, and we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar that evening. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were efficient and really friendly, and there was plenty of parking. We stayed yesterday, everything was really good, and I’d thoroughly recommend the hotel. When we come back to Banff, I’d definitely stay here again.

I paid a small extra charge for smoked salmon at breakfast, and it was definitely worth it. The rooms were spotless, with luxurious decor, and everyone was very friendly. I stayed overnight on a business trip and was extremely surprised by this little gem. Traditional Scottish luxury at its finest. I’d very much recommend staying here.

The breakfast had a great selection, and the staff catered to everything we needed. We had a Sunday overnight stay in this really nice, recently refurbished hotel. The rooms and beds were lovely and comfortable, and there was a cosy log burner in the bar. It’s ideally placed for golf at Dufftown Royal and Inverallochy. I’ll stay again.

After cycling 56 miles from Cruden Bay, it was a lovely place to unwind. We were on a cycling trip in Scotland, and having a good evening meal here saved us a long walk into town. Breakfast was delicious too, with very friendly service. It’s certainly not cheap, but it is a lovely hotel.

Colin at reception and the breakfast waiter are an asset to the hotel. The food was excellent and the bed was comfy. I’d definitely stay here again.
