The single rooms are small but perfectly adequate, and the owner (I think) was friendly, helpful, and quick to reply to emails. She also noticed my colleague was struggling with the stairs and moved him to a lower floor. The location is really convenient for both the Tunnel terminal and the restaurants and bars in town. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’ve got a very early train or are spending time in Folkestone.

My son stayed here on a business trip and received a warm welcome. His room was clean and well kept. The location is convenient too, only a 7-8 minute walk from the railway station.

We slept well both nights, helped by the quiet road. The guest house is comfortable, and it’s about a five-minute walk to the centre. Breakfast was a lovely, satisfying full English with tea and toast. Our host was a lovely, obliging lady: she kept an eye out for us when we were lost before arrival, helped us add a booking at short notice, arranged a larger room for it, and sorted a taxi when we needed one. One suggestion, the hard dining chairs in the rooms could be more comfortable, especially for older guests.

Margarita was so friendly and welcoming. My single en-suite room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hospitality tray was topped up each day. The railway and bus stations and town centre are all just a few minutes' walk away. I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it.

Right in the centre of Folkstone and only a short drive from Eurotunnel. The host was friendly, the room spotless, and the bed comfortable. There was tea and coffee in the room too.
