Yeo Dale Hotel

Paul, the owner, even made people-shaped toast for my daughter at breakfast, and it was delicious. They also kindly posted her necklace to me after she left it in the room. The rooms were comfortable and lovely, with plenty of the character the hotel must have built up over the years. I stayed one night with my daughter, while my parents stayed for two, and we all felt very welcome. We’d definitely come back.

The room was just right and quiet. I was after a last-minute single room for one night and Paul gave me a great welcome. It’s a charming, traditional little hotel that has kept much of the old building’s character. I enjoyed the walks to the recommended restaurant and along the historic riverside. There’s plenty more to discover, so I’ll come again.

The breakfast has a great choice, cooked or continental, and the rooms are clean with good amenities. It’s a cosy family-run place that feels lovingly managed, with a relaxing atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff who are helpful too. The location works well for exploring the area or coming for business. Shops, restaurants, and pubs are an easy walk away, and there are several parking options nearby, including the cheapest long-stay one.

The staff are amazing, and the rooms are modern and well kept. The bed was comfier than mine at home. The food is amazing too, and the location is perfect.
