Penmark was a real highlight, with lovely country walks and the old Church, which is open to respectful visitors. My wife and I spent one night at the Old Barn before flying from Cardiff airport. The accommodation was perfect for our short stay, and the hosts were super helpful. We'd definitely recommend staying at the Old Barn in Penmark again.

The hosts were really kind and helpful, and their recommendation of the Blue Anchor Inn was fantastic. The village is about a five-minute drive from the airport, so it's a handy place to start or finish a trip to Wales. Breakfast is self-catered, with a full kitchen and supplies including coffee, tea, bread, cereal and eggs. The barn really is old, with exposed beams and walls that made it feel like stepping back in time. The room was spacious and the bathroom worked well, though the shower takes a bit of figuring out. Loved this place.

The little village felt VERY friendly, and I'd recommend Penmark to any traveller. The Six Bells Inn next door served huge meals and offered amazing service and value. The owners of The Old Barn were lovely, and even did our laundry for us, thanks again. It was a great place to stay for an authentic feel of Welch history.

We loved the old-school feel of this place, and my wife especially liked the shower. There's an amazing pub right next door, Six Bells Inn, and the airport may be about as conveniently close as you can get. This place was awesome!

Lovely, polite hosts welcomed us, and the cooked breakfast was lovely too. The village setting was quiet, the bed comfortable and the facilities clean. There's a lovely pub next door as an added bonus. Fantastic place to stay, we'd definitely return. Thank you.
