Just a short walk by the river from central Bath, this is a pretty B&B in an ideal spot. The house and our room were immaculate, with beautiful art, and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too. My partner said the omelette was the best he’d ever had. The owner was kind and welcoming, and I liked the fun facts on the breakfast table. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Ling was so helpful after I accidentally left my house keys behind. She replied quickly and kindly posted them to me the next day. She was a lovely host throughout, too. At first, we were surprised when asked to remove our shoes on arrival, but once we understood and respected Ling’s culture, it felt homely. We loved the breakfast choices, especially the delicious kippers, which were a refreshing change. Our room was clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable, and although we were only a ten-minute walk from the city centre, the area was peaceful and we both slept incredibly well. This was our first stay at Apple Tree guesthouse, but it won’t be our last. We’d previously stayed at another guest house that was second to none, but sadly it stopped trading. We’re glad we found Apple Tree.

Apple Tree is in a quiet neighbourhood, yet Bath’s historic centre is only a five-minute walk away. We stayed on the last weekend before Ling closed for Christmas, and since some rooms were still available, we were given a free upgrade to a bigger one. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and delicious. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend booking at Apple Tree B&B.

Ling made us feel so welcome and helped us explore Bath the proper way. We stayed two nights in the Bramley unit and enjoyed three fantastic breakfasts. The house was comfortable and quiet, and it’s just a short walk into town. We loved everything about Apple Tree and would highly recommend it. We’ll be back!

Our hostess was lovely and offered plenty of generous, well-prepared breakfast options. She also gave us useful tips for seeing the city, parking the car and finding somewhere for dinner. The large room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short visit. The price was fair, and the location was excellent for visiting Bath. We’d recommend it without hesitation.
