The service is what made this place five stars. When I asked to change rooms because I needed a shower head, the staff were wonderful about helping. The man at the front desk went above and beyond with our luggage, moving all our belongings to the new room while we were rushing to catch the bus. He was incredible, a real star! It’s a beautifully furnished, very clean house, and the breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast room is so, so beautiful, too.

Breakfast was beyond superb. The hotel was friendly and very well run, and our room was beautiful and just right for a family of three. It’s also a gem for its location, with an easy walk into Bath and free parking for guests.

The signs outside the hotel look shabby and don’t match the inside, so I’d advise the owner to replace them. Inside, I had a lovely stay. The room was beautiful and clean, with a large comfortable bed and nice nightgowns. The bathroom was spacious, the staff were pleasant and attentive, and breakfast was nice.

We arrived around 9 pm and could still check in. If we’d got there later, there was also a way to get the room card. I’d booked a larger room, and we were upgraded to a lovely one on the highest floor. Jeremy, I think, helped us that day, and the other staff we met were friendly too. The open bar setup is easy for both sides, and we enjoyed the trip overall.

For my wife’s birthday, we had a lovely stay. Room 12 was beautiful, and she especially enjoyed the large bath. The staff were excellent and very helpful, and I liked the well-stocked bar. I’d definitely recommend it.
