The location is perfect, about a five-minute walk across a bridge into town, and it works really well if you have a car. Our room was nice and spacious, with a newly remodelled bathroom. The shower was disappointing, though. The economy water tank meant low pressure and made the temperature very hard to control, either too cold or too hot. It would be nice if they offered even a continental breakfast. The host was lovely and recommended The Architect in town for dinner. It was terrific.

We came back for a second stay at the very comfortable Brunel Studio apartment at Pultney House. The hosts were really helpful, and the location worked well for us. Inside, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we especially liked the comfy bed, chairs, and lovely en-suite shower room.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the central location made it easy to walk to Bath’s main attractions. The only snag was that we couldn’t leave our luggage there after check-out, which would’ve been useful.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the hotel is really cute :) It’s also an easy walk to both the city center and Bath Spa train station.

The welcome felt warm and genuine, and it was easy to head out and explore Bath from here. We found the rooms comfortable, loved the beautiful gardens, and thought the house had loads of character. It was a lovely spot to relax and feel at home.
