Breakfast was a real highlight. The staff were fantastic and accommodating, and the food was top quality. The sausages and bacon were lovely, and my eggs Benedict one morning were cooked beautifully. We spent three nights at the Dorian hotel. The staff had arranged a ground-floor room after I let them know in advance that I’m disabled and would need some assistance, and I could park very close by. The room was spacious, with a super king-size bed and a very comfortable mattress. It had an African theme, though the decor looked dated and tired. There was quite a bit of dust, and while the ensuite bathroom was clean, it was dated too. I was surprised by how much road noise there was at different times of day.

We stayed in the small double room in the roof, and it was just right for what we needed. The place was very clean and well located, about a 10-minute walk into the town centre. We barely saw anyone except at breakfast, where the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.

Breakfast was cooked to order and really good, and we were only there for one night in the smaller room. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and very clean. It was quiet at night, so we slept well. The city centre is about a 20-minute walk away. I enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

The room had a coffee machine, plus a kettle with tea and coffee, and a hair dryer. There was an iron and ironing board in the corridor for guests to use, and free parking on site. We didn’t try breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. Dorian House is around a 15-20-minute walk from Bath Town, or an Uber costs about £8 each way. The staff were friendly, the room was nice, and we had a lovely stay. I’d highly recommend it and we’ll definitely be back.

The rooms are fantastic, the team are awesome, and breakfast is amazing. It’s about a 15-minute walk downhill to the city centre. Coming back up isn’t too arduous, though a taxi or Uber might be handy if you’re loaded with shopping and full of wine and food. This place is a gem if you’re staying in Bath to explore the city.
