Greenmount Bed & Breakfast

A lovely Irish experience, with a charming feel. The rooms are spacious and the bedding is high quality. Delightful host!

Vivienne, our cheerful and pleasant host, made this a lovely place to stay. I'd come back.

The bed was heavenly, and both the staff and other guests were really friendly. We could keep our beer in the fridge, too. It was cheap, and the breakfast wasn't great, though you could eat as much as you wanted, so it was okay for the price. The toilet was tiny, and I kept thinking it might break next time I sat on it, but who cares for a night or two? We forgot the check-in time, but the owner was very friendly and helped us. We were impressed by the price and quality, especially since we booked the little B&B at short notice and expected it to cost more. The rooms have free Wi-Fi and USB charging points, though there's no usual tea or coffee setup. You can use the shared kitchen if you want a hot drink. Shops, fast food and public transport are easy to reach on the main road, but that does make the rooms a little noisy. The building is a bit run down and could use some repairs, but I’d still recommend it to family and friends.
