Jo was especially lovely with our little girls and made their stay a great one. She was always a pleasure to see, and nothing seemed too much trouble. She’s such a good member of the team. My family and I have stayed at this particular Premier Inn a few times over the last month, in February, and have been happy with the experience every time. Great location, rooms and food. Parking was always available, and we couldn’t ask for much more.

The room was fine and the hotel was quiet, but I’d eat somewhere else. At breakfast, things were empty or cold when I arrived at about 9. Some were refilled while I was there, others weren’t. The restaurant service was terrible, even with only about 10 customers and what looked like four staff. Eventually someone took my order, then about twenty minutes later I had to ask for my drink. After 45 minutes without food, which seemed to be the usual wait, I checked and was told my order had been lost. I was in a hurry, so I gave up and went to another restaurant on the complex. Fine for sleeping, though.

I was disappointed to find my room hadn’t been cleaned when I arrived. I reported it at reception, and they offered me another room and free breakfast. I appreciate the offer, but didn’t feel comfortable staying at a hotel where housekeeping had missed a room and the supervisor hadn’t checked it either.

Sara and Jo were the reason I wanted to leave a review. They were so lovely to talk to and took extra care of us and our little ones. Such sweet, caring people. Thanks to them, we had a really nice stay!

After more than five years of staying at Premier Inn without any check-in trouble, this time we were unexpectedly asked for ID. It felt unnecessary and completely out of step with all our previous visits. The way it was handled left us uncomfortable and singled out, and sadly came across as discriminatory and racist. The staff said they were managers, but didn’t seem professional or able to manage a straightforward check-in. We’re very disappointed after being loyal customers for years. We won’t be using Premier Inn again.
