The murder mystery was a first for us, and we had a great time. The actors got everyone involved, and winning made it even more fun. Dinner was decent, then we had a laugh at the disco. Our table was lucky too, we met some really nice people. Service at the bar dragged a bit with only one person serving, though it wasn't a big deal. We booked a deal as a group for one night. The hotel is lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. There's a little wear and tear, but nothing that got in the way. The junior suite upgrade was well worth it and made the stay feel like a treat. Its bathroom was more tired than the bedroom, and there was no fridge, but neither bothered us much. Breakfast let things down a little. Some items weren't available, and the scrambled eggs were bland and rather mushy. Even so, we'd happily stay again, especially with an event included at the right price.

The grounds were lovely to wander around, though in winter you'll want sturdy shoes. The hotel itself is grand, and the staff made us feel welcome and at home. We came for a murder mystery evening, our first, and it was a great laugh. The actors were excellent, and people could dress smartly, casually or in fancy dress. Dinner was good and breakfast was really tasty. We'd definitely recommend it.

By the end of our three nights over Christmas, I really didn't want to leave. Hartsfield Manor felt luxurious but still homely, and the stay was calm, relaxed and well organised, just what I wanted for the holiday. The room was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. Shared spaces stayed warm and inviting. The Manor is full of character, beautifully decorated for Christmas, and surrounded by stunning scenery that made it feel like a proper escape. From arrival, the atmosphere was welcoming and festive. The staff were friendly and attentive, and seemed keen to make things special without hovering. I wouldn't hesitate to come back, and would wholeheartedly recommend it for a memorable, stress-free break.

Our guests loved the rooms and the venue, and the grounds were immaculate. Someone was out that morning clearing leaves before the wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better day, thank you. Planning it at Hartsfield Manor was simple and effortless, from booking through to the celebration. Bethany, our wedding coordinator, was brilliant. She was available whenever we needed support and ideas, and made sure things ran smoothly before and during the big day. The food was amazing. At our tasting earlier in the year we met Tony, who is a real credit to Hartsfield, and we were glad he was there on the day. Our guests had lovely things to say about Tony, Lucas and the rest of the wait staff. Some even said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding.

We had a lovely, elegant afternoon tea for my aunt's 88th birthday. Anna served us with real warmth and respect. Bogdan the chef surprised her with a happy birthday plate, which was such a nice touch. We'll definitely come back, thank you 😊
