After we changed rooms, the woman at the desk knocked while we were in the shower to say the water was fine. It really wasn’t. We tried both directions on the knobs for at least five minutes each, then spent about 15 minutes trying, and the water never got warmer. It felt as though she thought we didn’t know how to use a shower, but we do. Everything had seemed fine at check-in until we discovered the cold water wasn’t working.

A good spot for an inexpensive night while travelling, and the staff were so helpful. They even got in touch to tell me I’d left a valuable behind in the room. The room was in decent condition and had tea and coffee facilities.

My car broke down, so I unexpectedly had to spend the night here. The room was clean and really good, and the reception staff made me feel welcome and were exceptionally helpful.

We were fortunate to get one of the rooms being refreshed at the moment, and it was great for the price. Having two comfortable chairs in the room made a real difference.

Moto, the hotel’s own cat, was the reason for my five stars. We absolutely loved him! The check-in receptionist was pleasant, and our room was clean, though a little dated. It’s cheap and perfectly fine for a night or two. It isn’t luxurious, but I’d happily come back for a short stay.
