We had a really good breakfast, served by a chatty, interesting woman who helped make the stay memorable. I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name. The room was comfortable, though there wasn’t quite enough milk for our drinks, but we could have asked for more. We stayed for one night on our way to Dunoon. Dinner was delicious, and the long-haired woman who served us made for a lovely evening. We’d definitely stay again if we come this way.

We had a lovely two-night break here and would highly recommend it. The hotel is dog friendly, with nice walks nearby. It’s in a quiet village, and the staff are welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. The food was lovely, plentiful, and offered plenty of choice.

The birthday card they wrote for the birthday girl was such a thoughtful touch, and the food was amazing. We were 12 people, including three kids, and had no booking, but they welcomed us in warmly. Service was attentive and the food came out surprisingly quickly for such a large group, especially after the poor service we'd had at the previous place. We only came for lunch at Hopetoun Arms Hotel and didn't stay overnight, but I'd definitely come back.

The bar was a laugh, we sat with some great local guys and my hubby and I haven't laughed so much! The staff were brilliant, kind and helpful, and even let us use their outside tap for our motorhome. We stayed at the Brit park tonight and had a beautiful meal. A great end to our tour around Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We booked an overnight stay at the last minute with my hubby. It was a very good price, and the food was fab. The lounge and bar are cosy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It's dog friendly, close to the lead mining museum, and well placed for anyone who enjoys walking.
