We slept really well, with spacious rooms and excellent beds. Scott was especially welcoming and cooks a delicious breakfast, and all the staff made us feel at home and were happy to help. This is a wee jem of a place, and we loved our recent stay. We’ll certainly return and recommend it to family and friends.

Scott is such a genuine person, and the breakfast was fantastic. It’s a lovely, homely guest house, an absolute gem. This was our first stay, but it certainly won’t be the last. Andy, Claire and Ava-Marie.

There’s a nice walk along the old railway track right across the road, and it’s a great place to stay with well-behaved dogs. The rooms are very spacious, with an extra-large bed that was extremely comfortable. Such a lovely guest house, with a fantastic host and a great breakfast. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The owner is awesome, and they know where to get a good single malt recommendation if you ever need one. Breakfast was amazing, the room was comfortable, and parking felt safe. Absolutely brilliant place. I highly recommend it and will use it again.

We’re sensitive to noise, so it was a bit noisy for us and we didn’t sleep well, though that wasn’t their fault. The owner was really friendly and welcoming, and the rooms, beds, mattresses, toilet and bathroom were clean. There was a kettle with tea and coffee so you could make your own. The freshly prepared Scottish breakfast was nice too. Overall, it was good.
