Best Western Ribble Valley Langho Mytton Fold Hote

The place is beautiful and the staff were lovely, but the afternoon tea was massively disappointing. For four adults there were just three sandwiches cut up, plus one wrap split into four. The scones were the size of a 50p coin and undercooked in the middle. Thank goodness I had a Groupon voucher and didn’t have to pay the extortionate £29.95. Sorry, but I wouldn’t return, and neither would anyone in my party.

We had our wedding reception at Mytton Fold on 28th December 2025, and the whole day was wonderful. The grounds, reception room, decorations, food and service were all excellent. Guests kept commenting on the venue, the food and drinks, the guest rooms and the service. Holly led a really efficient wedding team on the day, and everyone worked so hard to make sure nothing felt like too much trouble. Paris was a huge help throughout the planning, offering good advice and always making time for us. The stationary service was excellent too, and handled our changes without any fuss. We celebrated our anniversary here, and the staff were cheerful and polite from the moment we walked in. The food was bloody lovely. Best scotch egg I’ve ever had, 10/10 for both how it looked and how it tasted 😍

We absolutely loved the hotel and the bedroom makeover. The bar stays open for guests until 3am. One thing to know: we weren’t told it switches to card-only after a certain time, so luckily we had a card or we wouldn’t have been able to pay. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, which isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it does make food delivery harder. We managed to find a place that would deliver, Miami, if anyone wants to know.
