Bella Vista Lodge

We were welcomed by a lovely man who quickly showed us to our room. The welcome book had useful information, including the option to have breakfast brought to the room for a small charge and suggestions for nearby cafes and restaurants. We chose the king-size room and were glad we did. There was plenty of space for two, and it was nicely decorated in black and grey. The room was clean and well presented, with a comfortable bed, blackout-looking curtains and a TV that worked fine. The Nespresso machine was a nice extra, with crisps and enough tea and coffee, and you can ask for more. It's less than five minutes from the tower, which made it a great base. They ask guests to keep the noise down at night, which seems fair. I'd happily stay here for a week. Thanks for a lovely visit.

Booking directly with the business means the dog stays free, and the price is really good, especially if you're on a budget. The rooms are a good size and have en suites. The staff are so helpful and go beyond what I'd expect from hosts. This has become my go-to place. I've booked again and highly recommend it.

We had a good stay, and the beach front was very convenient to get to. The room felt secure, and its quiet fan was a godsend. The owner was amazing, friendly and accommodating, and even let us check in early. The downside was having no hot water on two mornings when we wanted to shower, which wasn't ideal.

The family room was a pleasant surprise for its size, and the beds were comfortable. There was a Nespresso machine in the room too. From the outside it looks like a typical Blackpool lodge, but the host was welcoming and very attentive. Nothing felt like too much trouble.
