Delamere Hotel

We’ve stayed here several times over the past four or five years. Ann and Tony used to own it and were excellent hosts, very clean, polite and welcoming. Since Dawn and Dave took over in March, the same kind, easy-going hospitality has continued. They make time for guests and are patient and lovely to talk to. For the price, it’s probably one of the best places to stay in Blackpool, with good value for the cleanliness, location and the owners’ attitude. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone considering a stay. You wouldn’t regret it.

Tony & Ann were attentive and made everything easy, even letting us arrive outside the usual check-in time. Then our train was cancelled and we got in later still, but they accommodated us. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the breakfast was lovely and very good value, though it costs extra. Perfect hosts. I’d definitely return.

The tea and coffee in the room ran out, but it wasn’t a problem. We hadn’t realised when booking that breakfast wasn’t included, and it did cost extra. Still, it was absolutely worth paying for: freshly cooked, lovely, with unlimited tea, coffee and toast. Big Billy and I couldn’t ask for more.

Tony and Ann were lovely owners, so friendly and welcoming. We brought our two children and our six-week-old baby, and they made the stay really pleasant. Great hotel. We’ll book again when we’re back soon.
