The room had plenty of space, was clean, and had everything we needed. We stayed four nights last week with my son and loved the place. The artwork was lovely and the plants beautiful. The owner Tony cooked the best breakfast we’ve ever had, with lots to choose from. Tracey, who serves breakfast, was brilliant too. We’ll definitely return and can’t recommend staying here enough.

We paid £90 for two people with breakfast for a cheap overnight stay to see a show, and it was fab value. From the street it looks fairly unassuming, like many small hotels, and there’s no on-street parking. You can park nearby for free overnight if you find a space. Inside, though, it’s a beautifully kept house with antiques, artwork and plants. Our room was on the small side but did the job, with an en suite shower room. There were nice details, like mints, water in the fridge, tea and coffee, and even bathrobes. The owner clearly notices the small things. The breakfast room is bright and uses wrought-iron furniture cleverly to make it feel spacious. Breakfast was delicious and not too much, and Tracey had us laughing with her one-liners each time she came out of the kitchen. We didn’t get a chance to have a drink with our host Tony at the little bar, but next time for sure. Kudos to Tony and his gang for a lovely hotel. I usually prefer larger hotels to the typical Blackpool B&B, but I’ll definitely come back here.

We had a fantastic overnight stay with our family of four. The beds were really comfortable, the amenities were good, and we loved the decor. Tony was a great host, and the hotel was near the pleasure beach. We’d highly recommend it.

We loved our stay at the park royal hotel on south shore. There were four of us in a family room, with the kids’ room separate from ours. The bunk beds and king-size bed were super comfortable, so all four of us slept brilliantly. The room was spacious and very clean, and the bathroom was clean too. Breakfast was lovely, and Tracey gave brilliant service. Toni and Tracey are lovely people who made us feel very welcome. Thanks for having us, Tony. We’ll be back. Sarah, Lisa and the kids.
