The location was fantastic for Coral Island, Central Pier and Blackpool Tower, and our room had a nice view of the Tower. The bed was very comfortable and the room an okay size. Internet worked, though it was patchy sometimes. It’s an alright place, but there are better B&Bs around, and the attitude at checkout really let it down. Breakfast is only served at 9am, and if you miss it, that’s that. We had very late nights, so it wasn’t an option either morning. There was no shower gel in the dispenser, so I bought some from the shop opposite. There was just one plug socket on one side of the bed, and checkout at 10am felt far too early. We didn’t dare ask the lady for a later checkout. She rudely ordered us to put the key in the box before we’d collected all our bags, then marched off without a greeting or asking how the stay had been. Basil Fawlty Charm School comes to mind.

The owners were pleasant, and breakfast was nice. Credit to the man who cooked it all. Still, I wouldn’t stay again or visit Blackpool again. The room was cold even with the heating on, and I was glad I’d brought a big blanket. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable, the view from the window was horrible, and the room was too small with poor decor. The plumbing was noisy, the TV couldn’t be tuned in and was unusable, and the bathroom door was hard to open and close.

The beds were really comfortable, and breakfast was one of the best in Blackpool. The owners were polite and excellent. I loved the place all round. The only small issue was the TV, but it wasn’t a big deal.

My son and I stayed at the end of August 2025 and couldn’t find fault with the hotel. It’s lovely, the host was great, and the location near the Tower was handy. Breakfast was something special, a 10/10, just like the whole hotel.

We’ve stayed here three times now, and it’s been fantastic each visit. The team are lovely and always check how you’re doing and whether you need anything. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and breakfast is delicious. It’s near Central car park and around a five-minute walk from the town centre. There’s plenty of space in the rooms. I highly recommend staying here.
