The Arundel Hotel is in a great spot, just a short walk from town, and it was good value for money. The parking was inexpensive and easy to pay for through the app. My room was spotless, modern, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It looks like the place has recently been done up, with a fresh, clean feel and everything nicely put together. I’d definitely stay again.

The location is right in the town centre, beside a beautiful church and the river, with plenty of restaurants nearby. My room on the top floor was spacious, as was the shower room, and the bed was super comfortable. There’s no lift. The shower was hot and powerful, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Breakfast is self-service and competently done, and room service from the sister hotel is amazing value. There’s no front desk, so they text you instructions for getting into the hotel and your room. The public car park is a good size and costs £4 for 24 hours. The postcode doesn’t take you straight to the hotel, so it’s a bit tricky to find, though Google Maps gets you roughly there. I’d highly recommend it and would stay again when I’m in the area.

For £62, I was really surprised by how classy and well equipped the room at The Arundell Hotel was. The entrance has an elegant hall with a red carpet, and beautiful stairways going up to the first and second floors. Inside, the room has tiled floors and walls, striking decor, and a wet-room bathroom. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone staying nearby.

The rooms are clean and really contemporary. Some of the decor choices caught me by surprise, but they add to the atmosphere. We stayed one night, and Inga was the only staff member we met. She was really sweet, and we had a lovely chat with her over breakfast.

The atmosphere won me over as soon as I walked in. It mixes traditional touches with a sleek, modern look, and the sweeping staircase has beautiful chandeliers above it. The beds seem to float, the en-suites are light and airy, and the views are fantastic. This is a classy, high-end hotel right in the town centre, next to the magnificent Stump and historic Sessions House. It’s a luxurious base for exploring this history-filled town and its many treasures. There are suites and rooms in a range of sizes and prices. The high standards and decor are the sort you usually find in larger cities. A wonderful place to stay if you enjoy luxury and classy comforts.
