Grooms Cottage was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. It was a peaceful, relaxing stay. We hope to return later this year. Liz and Tom.

Ann and Mark were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their resident dog, Frankie, greeted us with a wagging tail and made us feel part of the family. The house felt like home, with a spacious garden and a lovely lounge with an open fire. The breakfast room had a fire too, and the food spread and all the little details were to a very high standard. We spent the weekend here in a room in the house, and next time we’ll book a cottage. The room was pristine, bright, and welcoming. This is a lovely hidden gem, close to some amazing walks and a lovely beach. The hosts know the area well, so I’d recommend listening to their suggestions. We really loved the place.

The Pony Barn at Pardlestone Farm was spotless and had everything we needed, so the stay felt completely stress-free. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space, using the BBQ for al fresco dinners in the quiet countryside. It’s a real gem, and the design felt both stylish and homely, with thoughtful touches throughout. The bed was honestly one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. We’d happily recommend the Pony Barn and would love to come back.

We spent a weekend with Mark and Ann and had a wonderful time. Their house and B and B rooms are beautiful, full of original features, and the views are lovely. Ann knows so much about local walks. We can’t wait to return.

Our horses loved the place so much that one refused to leave and wouldn’t load to go home. Mark spent an hour helping us and saved the day. If you bring horses, make sure they’re freshly shod, as the bridleways are steep and stony. Ann and Mark were lovely and went above and beyond. The room was beautiful, with a view over our horses in the back field, and breakfast was fab. It was such a lovely few days and made my daughter’s 16th really special and memorable. Thanks so much.
