This was my second visit and we’ll be back. The rooms are bright, clean, and beautiful, with great adaptations. There was even a fan in the wardrobe, which I used during a hot flush. The shower room was great, with soft, fluffy towels, and breakfast was amazing. The walls have pictures from when it was a school many years ago, and you can buy the homemade jams served with toast. The owners are amazing, friendly people, and their three beautiful cats made the place feel like home away from home. I can’t recommend this B&B enough.

The views across the Church grounds were excellent, and we could hear cows mooing at the nearby farm. There’s secure parking off the road at the back, and the selection of jams and marmalade was the best we’ve ever come across. Breakfast was lovely, as were the friendly conversations with our hosts, Nicky and Jim. The Old School house has plenty of Victorian charm, with an eclectic mix of décor and furnishings. It’s a fabulous B&B that felt more like a top-class hotel. Our room was well appointed and comfortable, and the ensuite had an amazing shower. A big thank you. We shall return. Trefor and Samantha

I arrived late in the evening and Nicky greeted us at the door. The air smelled warmly of Jasmine. Our green room was one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in, and very quiet, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and a powerful ensuite shower. Breakfast was lovely, with eggs straight from the garden and homemade jam. The house itself looks beautiful, too, with William Morris wallpaper. Five stars? I can hear you all gasping together. It’s not often you stay at a B&B and actually want to live there permanently, but that’s where I’m at. I’m starting legal proceedings next week against James and Nicky to make them adopt me. Highly recommended.

My sister and I had a great time at the School House b&b. The accommodation was excellent, the beds very comfortable, and we both slept well. Breakfast was up to standard, too. The lovely couple made us feel very welcome. Corinne & Lesley

The host was friendly and very flexible. The village was quiet and peaceful, but also very convenient. I would have loved to stay longer. It’s a lovely old school house, tastefully adapted for guests. The décor is beautiful, the rooms are large, and the ensuite bathroom is well equipped. The big bed was very comfortable.
