About this property

The area surrounding Bosworth Hall Hotel & Spa offers plenty to see and do. Take a stroll to the nearby historic village of Market Bosworth. Small independent shops surround the cobbled square and brightly coloured flowers are planted every summer ready for the Britain in Bloom competition. There’s also a great choice of places to eat and drink. Make sure you bring walking boots for the countryside, as walks in this area are amongst the most attractive in Britain. If you and the family love the outdoors, Bosworth Country Park will be a great day out, which is just a short walk away from the hotel. The park offers plenty of open grassland, a play area, facilities for picnics and woodlands that are ideal for bird watching.

We got a great deal that covered the room, dinner, breakfast, parking, spa facilities and a bottle of prosecco. The food was tasty with plenty to choose from, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Drink prices seemed about normal. The room had all we needed, with lots of toiletries, his and hers sinks, a complimentary coffee machine and a fridge. The building and grounds are lovely and well cared for, and I imagine they’d be especially nice in summer. It’s a peaceful setting and good value, and we’d stay again. The spa was a little basic and could use some TLC. It was fine for our visit, but I wouldn’t come here for a spa day.

The buffet was lovely, with everything we needed, and the tribute acts were great. We had a very good weekend, though there were a few issues. When we arrived, our room smelled awful, so we spoke to the manager and they found us another one. It was a good size, very clean, and had a lovely shower, TV, coffee machine, microwave and fridge. The restaurant needs to rethink its options for vegetarians. If you don’t order as soon as you arrive, your food won’t be ready when the rest of your party eats. Most staff were friendly and helpful, especially Lucy, Lee, Jack and Paige. Paige was particularly friendly in the lovely lounge bar. The hotel was very busy, but they opened another room for breakfast, which made it more relaxing. The bar in the tribute room needs to look at its staff and the drinks being served. Selected alcohol was on a 2 for 1 offer from 7pm to 10pm. On Saturday there was a craft fayre, one of the best I’ve been to, plus a singer and mince pies being brought around.

For our small engagement party, we booked afternoon tea and were offered a private room that they had dressed for us. The setting was lovely, and the tea was delicious, made with fresh ingredients and served with warm scones. The staff were attentive and helpful, and we had a lovely day. Thank you ☺️

The staff were a credit to the hotel, always friendly and helpful. The restaurant team were especially good at finding us a table quickly, even with queues for breakfast and dinner. We stayed three nights on a Caledonian break, and it was very busy. I can see why some reviews say it may not suit solo travellers. The buffet food made the wait worthwhile. Breakfast had loads of choice and was as good as anywhere we’ve stayed, better than many. Dinner usually offered a roast, a veggie option and another dish, such as curry. You could help yourself to as much as you wanted, and the food was always hot and tasty. There were plenty of comfortable spots in the fabulous hotel to sit with a drink and chat with old and new friends. We had an excursion each day with Caledonian, so didn’t get to walk around the extensive, well laid out grounds. The nearby village is a five minute walk through the car park by the church, and we visited its welcoming, friendly pub before dinner each night. I’d recommend the hotel. The Caledonian deal is fantastic too.
