The room was a good size, with two armchairs, and everything was clean and absolutely fine despite the slightly jaded decor, furniture, carpet, and fittings. We asked for a quiet room and got one on the first floor, two rooms from the lift and right by the car park. It still wasn't quiet. The kitchen below was banging and being cleaned until after 10 pm, and an alarm in the car park kept going off repeatedly until after 3 am. Good value overall, but not ideal if you're looking for somewhere peaceful to rest.

The car park was full, and nearby street parking needed permits until 8pm. Still, we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely sea view and really friendly staff. The best surprise was the restaurant, which was mainly Thai for the evening meal. Really good!

The bed was so comfortable that I slept incredibly well, and we got a huge room, I think it was room 54, with lovely adjacent windows. We were there on fireworks night and had amazing views over the Downs and from the beach. I booked at the last minute for a work trip and was really impressed. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and upgraded us. Fantastic value for money, and a great stay. I'd definitely return and recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, budget-friendly place.

The sea views were amazing, and the bed was really comfortable. Manu, Marina, Erika, and the rest of the staff made us feel at home for the whole week. Totally recommended.

We got the upgrade we'd asked for, to a family room with a sea view for two friends. The beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was superb. We had a full English, and we'll be back! Great location, with bus stop 700 right outside and a fantastic restaurant come bar opposite on the seafront. Check out is 11am, and breakfast ends at 11am too.
