Getting around from the Bromley Premier Inn is easy, with Bromley South Station right beside it and the town's facilities a short walk away. I do like the Premier Inn model and use their hotels regularly, but this stay left me very disappointed. There was a major bed refurbishment happening, with one lift out of use. The only remaining lift was also being used as a service lift, which was inconvenient for guests. They should have kept both lifts operating during the work or waited until both were serviceable. My first-night breakfast at 0830 had a good selection, but the hot food was tired and I couldn't get it refreshed, so I didn't eat there again. Fortunately, there are plenty of nearby breakfast places. I was assigned quiet room 601 at the end of the hotel next to the high-rise flats. The small window and the flats' height made it quite dark, though that didn't bother me much since I was only there at night. The bigger problem was the bright AC/heating control on the alcove wall beside the bed. It didn't dim even when switched off. These panels are usually in the entrance hall, where their light can't disturb you. I barely slept the first night and asked reception to look at it, but nothing changed the second night. I bought sticky tape and covered it with the cardboard sign, which helped enough for a decent night's sleep on night three. So much for the Premier Inn guarantee of undisturbed sleep, I only got one of three nights.

Third time staying here, and this was the best yet. The staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. Thanks, Roy, Natasha and Joseph. The breakfast buffet was great, and the location's perfect, with an F45 just feet away if you exercise and everything close by. I only wish you'd sell the duvets outside the UK too 😁

After an intense, busy week working in London and Leeds, coming back to room 509, a Premier Inn Plus room, and sleeping in that bed was just what I needed. The new Premier Inn 2 mattress is so comfortable that I checked the website and fully intend to buy one. Staff were very nice and helpful, and my Salmon was perfect. Bromley South Station is right across the road, making London and my Leeds connections painless. I'll definitely stay again, and thanks PILB. I'm taking off a star because the mattress protector was too small for the 5' bed, the size for a 4'6" bed. I had to strip and remake the bedding just to get some basic comfort. Fit the right size and I'd give the room five stars. Parking was only £5 per 24 hours, though the old underground car park is tight, with very narrow ramps, so watch your wheels near the kerbs.

The room was spacious and I was very happy with it. I noticed a waste smell coming from the bathroom basin at certain times during the day and night, though. Check-in was a rough start. After driving 5+hours, the last thing I wanted was to use a kiosk, but when I went to reception looking clearly flustered, I was directed back to it. Even so, I'd stay again and have already booked a few more nights for work.

The restaurant downstairs was lovely. The food was really nice, and neither getting a table nor waiting for the meal took long. The staff helped us get settled and find our rooms, and the rooms were clean, nice and had everything we needed. It's a really nice hotel at a fair price, not too far from central London. I'd recommend it for a trip into the city.
