The bed was so comfortable, and the freshly laundered smell of the sheets and pillows helped me relax and sleep well. Our rooms were clean and tidy, with a nice bathroom and more complimentary toiletries than I can list. The owner gave us a lovely welcome when we arrived for our one-night stay with friends. Breakfast was a traditional Welsh one, served beautifully on a big plate with toast and tea. We had other plans that evening, so didn't try the restaurant. I highly recommend the Llanelwedd Arms Hotel and will definitely return.

Breakfast was cooked to order and good quality, and our rooms were clean, comfortable, and had pleasant views of the river opposite. We were four cyclists arriving after riding through torrential rain from Shrewsbury, and got a warm welcome. They offered to help dry our wet clothes in the boiler room, and the proprietor was very hospitable, with advice on where to eat and drink locally.

The room was cosy and nicely warm, with a strong hot shower and plenty of toiletries. Check-in was friendly, but you may need to phone to be let in, so make sure you have mobile signal. The owner was friendly and offered to open the bar for us if needed. It's a lovely pub, though it sadly isn't open to the public anymore because of running costs.

I only stopped for one night on my way to Swansea, and wish I'd arrived earlier. I got a warm welcome even though I was very late. The room was beautiful, with a super comfortable bed, crisp bedding, extra large towels, and lovely toiletries. I'd definitely stay again.

The room was small, but scrupulously clean, and I had a great night's sleep. I stayed on the top floor of this very old building, where the room fit a double bed, dressing table and chair. The cupboard built into the eaves and the functional ensuite had everything needed, with plenty of complimentary vanity items. The building's old charm comes with some compromises, so I don't think anything could make the room I had five-star. It was perfect for me and my dog, though it might feel a bit cramped for two people. The welcome was warm, the food was great, and parking was available. The location is ideal for the Royal Welsh Showground. I'll request a room here again when I visit the area, and highly recommend the establishment.
