Bayview Hotel

That Atlantic view through the floor-to-ceiling windows was something else, and the spacious suite was spotless and beautifully furnished. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the fresh laundry scent in the bedding was lovely, and the huge bathroom didn't disappoint. From our Friday afternoon arrival, the receptionist and then the restaurant and bar teams made us feel welcome all weekend. Dinner and breakfast were first class, with attentive, professional service. Trevor also stopped for a chat several times. We’ll certainly return to the Bayview.

The food was beautifully presented and cooked just right, and our clean, well-kept room had stunning views. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout our amazing stay at the Bayview. We’d happily recommend this lovely gem.

I've been staying around Ireland for two weeks for work, changing places every night, and I've stayed in well over 100 hotels on the mainland for work and pleasure. Bayview really stands out as a stunning four-star hotel. I hadn't tried dinner, but from the moment I walked in I felt I'd found a great place. Breakfast holds its own against mainland five-star hotels. The little details in the room made it feel like home, and you can tell someone thought carefully about where everything should go. Really impressive.

The food was delicious. I started with BBQ ribs and had braised beef after. We stayed in a lovely twin room with a sea view, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. It’s peaceful here, with amazing views, so it’s a good choice if you want a relaxing break by the sea. We also found out the hotel owns a cottage nearby. There’s a private car park behind the hotel, plus overflow parking across the street. I’d definitely recommend a visit.
