There's plenty of free parking, and the bar has a nice selection of drinks at very fair prices. The Causeway Tavern is well placed for the main sights, and the owner is lovely and engaging, always happy to help. Our room was very nice, with a good shower and a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was great too, with lots of choice, generous servings and nice presentation.

This is an old-fashioned pub and B&B with a traditional feel, a fireplace, several beer taps, and a decent collection of comic book action figures. There’s also a cat you can pet. Breakfast is served in a very small room, so let them know when you plan to come down in the morning. There’s no dinner on site, but the owner gave excellent advice about Bushmill.

We felt right at home during our two nights here, and the breakfast tasted just as good as it looked. It’s a perfect base for visiting the Causeway Coast. Hopefully we’ll make it back one day.

The Tavern gave us a lift when we arrived on the little boat from Scotland, and also drove us to and from several local sights, so having a car wasn't necessary. A short ride to Bushmills gets you onto the Rambler bus, which runs along the coast. Set among farm fields, beside a church and just up the road from a country school, it's a perfect spot a few miles from the beautiful Causeway Coast. It's family-owned and operated, and worth taking time to get to know the hostess. Breakfast was great, and a visit to the bar in the afternoon or evening is part of the experience. It's family-friendly too. This isn't a luxury hotel, but it's exactly what you need for a lovely Northern Ireland stay.

The rooms are fairly standard, each with a private bathroom, and breakfast was good with plenty to eat. The owners are kind, funny and lively. We really enjoyed sharing a few pints with them. I’d happily stay again when I’m back in the area, and recommend you do the same.
