The Old Bushmills Barn

The photos don't quite capture how beautiful the place is. Jasper was so welcoming at check-in, sharing useful information about the area with a lovely, easy smile. We thought the place was amazing and already can't wait to return next year.

The balcony was a brilliant spot for games, family time and an evening get-together, and the harbour and nearby beaches give you plenty to do. The harbour is great for kids and paddle boarding, too. There are restaurants and takeaways right on the doorstep, but it's also a lovely quiet place to lounge and unwind. The barn has a thoughtful mix of old, new, quirky and cool details. It isn't straight out of a magazine, but feels carefully put together for guests. Comfortable, calm and very restful, it could suit all sorts of people. We booked this for my husband's birthday with three other couples. The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely finished, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the food and drinks we'd brought along. A really beautiful place, and one I'd highly recommend.

The hosts were really helpful, and their recommendation for a roast dinner was spot on. We had a fantastic weekend here with family visiting. The accommodation was warm, cozy and lovely, with a great location for Northern Ireland sights like the Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery and some Game of Thrones locations. Highly recommend.
