Each of our comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms features an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, a color television with free-to-view channels, Wi-Fi, and a hot drinks tray. To reach us, take exit 10 from the M9 between Glasgow and Perth, and follow the A84 signposted for Callander. The hotel is on the right-hand side in the town center. The car park is accessed from the road parallel to the main street.

The room was decent and the beds were comfortable, though the room could do with an update. We had no complaints overall and will definitely come back. Breakfast was included and hit the spot, and the staff were lovely and welcoming throughout.

My husband and I have just come back from a brilliant night here. We got excellent value, a clean room with everything we needed, and really friendly staff who went above and beyond. Just perfect, we’ll definitely be back.

We’ll be back, though next time we might bring the dog. We chose the Dalgair for our visit to Callander and the Trossach’s because it was pet friendly and well reviewed. The two nights were top class: the rooms were as described, very clean, and had everything we needed. Greg’s Bistro has a small menu, but the food was delicious both nights and the wine selection was top class. Ruth ran the restaurant by herself and gave second to none service. The back bar was friendly, with great staff, and packed with customers watching Scotland play. There’s also a rear car park, which was a real plus with parking on Callander Main Street so busy.

The hotel was clean and tidy, though parts of it are a bit dated. Breakfast was lovely, and it was great value for money. It’s in a great spot, with a nice little bar attached.

The town and its people were so friendly and polite, and we’d gladly stay here again. There were four of us, and we were happy to find such a cosy place with a pub at the back. The food there was good, with tasty meals at reasonable prices. Breakfast was included and wonderful. Once we’d finished what we thought was everything, the lady asked if we were ready for a full Scottish breakfast. We were, and it was great! Our room was comfortable, spacious and bright, with a large bathroom too. Truly recommend it.
