Dad and I come here for meals quite often, and the food is always lovely, hot, beautifully presented and really tasty. Prices are reasonable too. The ladies are helpful and the service is prompt every time. I’d definitely recommend it.

My son and I arrived at 3:45 pm, before they closed, and ordered food. Everything was cooked just right, the portions were spot on, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I haven’t had a pub meal that good in ages, so I left a tip. We’ll have to come back so I can try more of the menu. Well done, everyone! ☺️☺️☺️

We had dinner in the lovely pub setting, and the portions were generous. The meat dishes at other tables looked good, but we found the vegetarian choices and dessert very bland. Breakfast was continental and just okay. Still, the rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, and we had a pleasant stay at the Old Red Lion Inn.

Great rooms and a great place to eat. The food was really good, and the Chef and Staff gave excellent service all round. My only gripe is that there’s no cooked breakfast during the week, but hey ho.

We had a wonderful stay, and I’d gladly visit again. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced, and the pub had a lovely fire and traditional feel. Our cosy room had an apartment-style feel to it, and the staff were friendly throughout. A lovely little country inn for travellers and tourists alike.
