Breakfast was cooked when ordered, so it came out piping hot and tasted great. The restaurant was spotless, as was my room in the annex, which smelled fresh from the moment I walked in. The air conditioning actually worked too, a welcome change. Staff were really helpful, especially the reception team on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. The location was fine, around a 25-minute mostly flat walk from Falkirk Grahamstown station, or 30 minutes from Falkirk High with a couple of long, fairly steep hills. There’s a large Tesco about 15 minutes away through Camelon, though it felt a little edgy there on Friday evening. Next time I’d probably walk farther to Morrisons or Asda near Falkirk Grahamstown station. One of the best Premier Inns I’ve stayed in, 10/10. Thanks to everyone on the team.

The room was spacious, neat and comfortable, with a great shower and air conditioning. We stayed for two nights, 22nd and 23rd Oct, and had a lovely time. Staff were friendly and efficient throughout. When we asked for an extra towel and some cups, the concierge even made a special trip to bring them. The only thing that needed fixing was a light bulb that wasn’t working, which we reported to the concierge. The restaurant servers were terrific, especially the chap at breakfast. The food was excellent, compliments to the chef.

The food was a highlight. I had breakfast there all three mornings, with lovely made-to-order cooked food for £10.99 and a good buffet alongside it, with fruit, juice, yoghurt, bread, coffee and other hot drinks. Val and Andrew were fantastic with the table service, and I think Lucy was the chef. The breakfast area was a nice place to eat. I really enjoyed my three-night stay while visiting Falkirk. Pamela made check-in easy and gave a great first impression. My clean, lovely modern room was on the second floor overlooking the canal, with a nice bath and shower, plenty of hot water and good towels. The maid was really cool too. Thanks to the staff for going that bit further to make the stay special. Alan (203)

We were apprehensive after reading the reviews, but our stay worked out really well for us. The location was ideal for The Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel, both an easy walk along the canal path. We stayed three nights last week, and our annex room was clean, with comfortable beds and a large wall-mounted TV. A few bathroom bits could use attention, though the shower was very good and hot. The nearby road didn’t bother us, but we could hear people walking around in the room above. It was warm at night, so we asked for a fan. The windows don’t open. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk were in the room on arrival, with extra supplies in the lobby to top up without asking. A polite, attentive staff member took our breakfast order and brought it out piping hot, while also keeping the buffet stocked and turning tables around quickly. The breakfast area was lovely. It’s a shame they don’t serve evening meals anymore, but we can recommend The Coppertop nearby.

The team left a lovely welcome gift for our first visit. The kids were delighted with the sweets and crisps. Room was clean and comfy, can’t fault it.
