We had amazing views from the balcony, especially watching the sunset, and the hotel was nicely furnished and well maintained. Our family room with a sea view worked really well. The spa was closed for refurbishment, unfortunately, and the hotel offered no concession since it’s complementary. Service varied: some staff were very helpful, while others were less competent. That didn’t spoil our enjoyment, though, and I’d definitely come back.

We got our room upgraded, which we really appreciated, and the staff were lovely and helpful. It’s a good team. This was our second visit, and the spa facilities were gorgeous and clean. I had a really well-done massage. The kitchen was being renovated while we were there, and I think that affected the menu and the dinner we had this time. When things are running as usual, it’s really lovely. Would recommend for a spa day or a weekend away.
We really enjoyed our Valentine’s Day stay. The room was very small but had everything we needed, and all the staff were so nice and friendly. The hotel is in a beautiful spot with a lovely walk along the cliffs. The restaurant food was wonderful too.
The staff’s care and accessibility really stood out. I have low vision, and when I found the pool area a bit dark, they turned up the lighting straight away. At breakfast, although it was self-serve, staff kindly brought everything over, which made it relaxed and stress-free. The hotel is fully mobility accessible, and I felt welcomed and well looked after throughout. I also ate in the restaurant, where service was fast and attentive and the food was excellent. I was travelling alone for one night in December and had a genuinely excellent stay at the Cliff Hotel. I’d booked a standard single room with no view and got exactly that, no complaints. It was spotlessly clean, stocked with tea and coffee, and had an extremely comfortable bed. It was wonderfully quiet, with no outside noise. The room was a little cool, but that didn’t detract from my stay. Outstanding value for money, and Cliff Hotel, you’ll be seeing me again very soon.
We stayed at Cliff Hotel & Spa between Christmas and the New Year with my elderly dog and my mother, who is 90 and has mobility issues and some memory problems. The location and views of Cardigan Bay were stunning, and we enjoyed the facilities, including the spa, treatments, swimming pool, golf range and Coastal Path. It was wonderful, and very good value for money. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, from Reception and the Restaurant to housekeeping. I have a feather allergy, and they found suitable pillows for me right away. They also arranged a separate dining area because the dog-friendly area wasn’t suitable for my mother’s mobility. The breakfast had a phenomenal amount of choice. Our room was wonderfully clean and spacious, with fabulous facilities, a well-stocked hospitality tray, a fridge and a great bathroom. Just wonderful, 5/5 on all counts. Highly recommend.
