Kabannas Liverpool

I went to the Kabin for a 30th birthday party, but didn’t stay overnight. The mezzanine-style area had two pool tables, good music and a nice view of the street. The bar staff were friendly and really professional. I’d definitely recommend it.

I loved staying here and would definitely come back. It’s very clean, modern and practical, and even though the hostel is near the cavern club with bars all around, it was quiet in the rooms. I grabbed a coffee before leaving, it was great and very reasonably priced.

The clubs around it kept blasting music through the night, still going at 5am. There’s no soundproofing, and the ear plugs they provide are a joke. You have to check yourself in, there’s no staff insight, and nobody cleans the room or changes towels. Even the toilet paper is kept in a plastic dispenser in the room, so good luck having enough or avoiding it breaking. You pay hotel prices for this. It’s not a hotel, don’t expect anything good. Avoid at all costs.

The staff were very nice and accommodating, and it was good value for money. I booked a bed in an all-female room. The room and toilet were clean, although it was warm inside, but that was okay. There were pubs nearby for partying all night, as well as shopping, restaurants and fast food.
