John was friendly and helpful, and his son helped serve a cooked breakfast in the morning. We stayed at Ardgort House with my husband and two other couples while travelling around Ireland this summer. The B&B was spotless and full of character, with spacious rooms. Several have balconies, and one has a bath for guests who prefer that to a shower. We’d happily return if we’re in the area again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we felt more like friends than guests. We recently stayed at the Ardgort Hotel in Castlederg, where the staff were so welcoming and did all they could to make us feel at home. There’s a warm, friendly atmosphere throughout. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

At 10:30 pm, the room was 7 degrees and the man running the place said the heat wouldn’t be on until morning. Our 8 month old baby was freezing and crying, and he didn’t seem to care. He’s a very mean man with no consideration for guests’ comfort, even children.

John was the part of our stay that really stood out. From the minute we arrived, he made us feel completely at home. Ardgort House in Castlederg is charming, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and immaculately clean. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

John was really lovely and helpful, and breakfast was good too. It’s a brilliant place to stay, with a beautiful house and a great room. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay.
