The Golden Fleece

The bathroom was enormous, with a huge bath, and the room was gorgeous, very clean, tidy, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, though half the mattress had broken springs and a noticeable dip. There are several good restaurants in the village nearby. I came during a change of ownership, so the staff were working extra hard, which I really appreciated. They couldn't provide the cooked breakfast included in the price, but contacted me with options: a full refund for it or a partial refund and a continental breakfast instead. That was a thoughtful touch. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we'll be back.

The hosts were great, and checking in was easy. Our room was warm, comfortable, and clean, with all the essentials, plus nice little touches like chocolates on the pillow, biscuits, and a discount card for a local cricket club. We'd definitely stay again when we're nearby.

A gorgeous room in a beautiful location, and the hosts were really lovely. It was spacious and very clean, with a nice outdoor area and plenty of parking. We'll be back.

The area is beautiful, and the rooms were clean and cosy. There's a good-sized outdoor space that would be great for kids too. I'll definitely come back when I'm racing at Dunkswell in future.
