About this property
The Leonardo Hotel Cheltenham, formerly the Jurys Inn, offers contemporary accommodations within its own gardens, nestled in the scenic Cotswolds. A short drive from Cheltenham's Regency town center, the hotel is also conveniently located near the racecourse and the historic city center. This proximity to the original Cheltenham 'waters' connects guests to a rich history, once enjoyed by figures such as Queen Victoria and Jane Austen. The hotel boasts modern amenities, including meeting rooms for up to 400 people and the Otium Health & Leisure Club, featuring an indoor heated pool. Bristol Airport is an hour's drive away.

The reception staff were lovely, and breakfast was okay. We slept well because it was so quiet, but the room felt quite cold, especially with a child. There were also visible marks on the mirror and side desk, so the cleaning could have been better. We still had a pleasant stay.

Breakfast had a really good range, with something for everyone, and the hotel and room were very clean. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and will be back. I'd recommend it to family and friends.

The Cheltenham suite was amazing, and we both loved the leisure centre and gym. It was only a 5-10 minute drive into Cheltenham centre, too. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. My partner and I have stayed in lots of Cheltenham hotels, and we'll definitely come back here.

We visited Gloucester and the cathedral using the quick local bus from a stop about a five-minute walk away. Back at the hotel, the pool was busy, as you'd expect during holiday time, but it was well organised and the attendant was very pleasant. We booked at the last minute and really enjoyed our break. The place was clean, and the rooms felt fresh with very comfortable beds.

The pool, sauna, steam room and gym made our stay special. Our twin room was great value and had everything we needed. It's a bit far to walk into Cheltenham centre, but buses and taxis are an option if you don't have a car. The hotel is on a main road, so the outlook isn't very scenic, though the traffic noise wasn't too bad.
