The town was an easy walk away, and there was convenient access to a car park just outside. We stayed two nights, and the room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was very good too. The free hot drinks and juice available all day were a first for us, even after staying in lots of hotels. We’d definitely come back.

The car park beside the hotel was good value, and the room rate was affordable. I stayed after an event in Chester and found the bed really comfortable. I was a bit hungover, so didn't make the most of breakfast, but what I saw looked amazing. It’d be a great spot to stay after the races.

We’d be happy to come back next time we’re nearby. It’s a short walk to the city centre, and free hot drinks are available all day. Breakfast is included in the room price and has a good range of food. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and although the bar stays open until 2am, we didn’t hear noise from our room. The hotel is right by the racecourse, with some rooms looking over it. Service was excellent from beginning to end.
8/10
Breakfast had a good choice of pastries and cereals, plus a gluten-free option. The hot food was nice, though it could have had tomatoes and mushrooms. Friendly staff, a handy location and very good value made for a really nice stay.
10/10
The breakfast buffet is included and has plenty of options, and the hotel is clean with what you need. There’s a free machine for tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fresh orange or apple juice throughout your stay. The bar is there if you fancy something stronger, and stays open until 2am. I’ve stayed here several times. You can leave your car safely parked for your whole visit if you don’t mind a short walk to the main street. Parking now costs £10 a day, which still seems worth it in a city. It’s a great base for visiting Chester, and I’d highly recommend it.
