The pie was 10/10, and the new local beers were great too. We only stopped in for the pub, but Mike and Katie behind the bar really looked after us. We were excited to hear it had reopened, and under the new management we’d definitely recommend it. Great all round.

The family and I keep wanting to come back, especially with the menu changing regularly. It’s a fantastic little pub, with really friendly staff and generous portions of great food.

This is our local, and we’ll be eating here more often now. Under its new management, it’s a fabulous pub. Electra and her team made a really delicious lasagne that was clearly homemade.

The atmosphere’s really great, and the service is friendly. The food’s delicious too. Don’t miss the fish and chips on Friday, they’re delicious!

The village around it is lovely, and the staff were friendly. We had a spacious, clean room with a comfy bed, and the mini fridge was handy with our little one. Parking was free right by the room entrance. We were a bit unsure about staying in a pub on a Friday and Saturday with our 5-month-old, but noise wasn’t an issue and it was nearly silent from 9pm. It was our first break away with the baby, and we’d happily stay again.
