The meal and music made a lovely end to our stay. We enjoyed the @beardybusker in the evening, then slept well and had a beautifully cooked full English breakfast the next morning. The bacon and sausage had great flavour and were clearly good quality. We spent the day relaxing in the bar, which had a homely feel, with some great drinks and cocktails at very reasonable prices. The nachos with cheese and pulled pork were delicious, especially the tasty pork. Dinner was fresh, well cooked and great value. We had king prawn and chorizo with rustic bread, homemade lasagne with salad and garlic bread, and Biscoff warm cookie dough. Stew had lamb kofta on flatbread, king prawn Thai green curry and chocolate orange cake. The prawn starter and cookie dough were heavenly. Our newly refurbished room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfy I slept like a log, and they even had my favourite custard creams in the room. All the staff welcomed us warmly, and we had a really relaxing weekend at the @anglersarms, which is a fantastic pub, B and B and restaurant. Morpeth, Northumberland landmarks and lovely walks are just a short distance away. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay.

Jackie gave us such a warm welcome and excellent service. The Sunday dinner was superb, with perfectly cooked beef, proper gravy and all the trimmings. Portions were generous too. I'd highly recommend the Anglers Arms for Sunday dinner.

The food was excellent. My fish was perfectly cooked and came with lovely thick-cut chips, and the scampi was just as good. We had our dog with us, so we ate in the bar, which felt a bit dated. The restaurant looked nice, there was outdoor seating too, and the staff were friendly.

Lovely atmosphere, and it felt family friendly. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was absolutely unreal, 10/10. We'll definitely be back!

Jackie looked after us brilliantly, and the Guinness was amazing. The food was great, and they were very accommodating to us and our dog. We'll definitely be back, thanks!
