Breakfast was a real highlight the morning after our one-night stay, with a tremendous spread that felt well worth it. The Wi-Fi wasn't working when we arrived, and there’s basically no mobile signal inside, but they got it fixed a few hours later, so it didn't cause a major problem. The location is fantastic and the price felt good value. I've stayed at a few Best Western hotels around the country and this one was right in line with the consistent standard I've come to expect. We'd happily come back. Thank you!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we found plenty of parking. We had a much-needed short break with our dog, and the rooms and other parts of the hotel were all very clean. Breakfast was really good, with plenty to choose from. We couldn't make use of the heated pool in February, as getting out into the cold would have been too much for us.

We came to see the Starling Murmuration at Roughtor and weren't disappointed, and we also had a lovely day in Fowey. Back at the hotel, our beds were comfortable and the rooms warm. It was nice to see wooden furniture instead of plastic, and there's an outdoor pool heated all year round, plus plenty of parking. The new owners were friendly and welcoming, and the service felt professional. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and made with local products, with less plastic used. Bacon and sausages were on the menu, and dietary needs were accommodated without taking choices away from everyone else.

Breakfast was beautiful and well worth adding on, with a good selection and everything cooked very well. The room was spotless, comfortable, well equipped and especially spacious for a family room. Housekeeping was lovely too. We spoke with Michelle, who was such a kind lady and happy to help with anything. Before we even arrived, Maisie sorted out my mistake when I booked the wrong dates, even though I had a no-cancellation booking. She changed them without any trouble, then gave us a warm welcome and all the information we needed when we checked in. After three nights, I'm absolutely blown away. I've stayed in quite a few hotels and this is my favourite. The staff are a credit to the place, and it's exceptionally clean, comfortable, well located and good value, with excellent food. I'd rate it 10/10 and will definitely return.

Such a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were wonderful. We were happy with our stay in dog-friendly Lostwithiel, and breakfast was good. I asked for the sausages to be burnt on the second morning, and they came out just right. See you again soon, and thank you.
