Margaret made breakfast feel so welcoming, and Dave, Lisa and Mary greeted us warmly whenever we came and went. The bar team and waiting staff were just as friendly and helpful. We stayed for three months while moving house, and the whole time felt comfortable and looked after. Our room was spotless, the other staff were so courteous, and the chef's food was delicious. We couldn't have asked for a more welcoming stay anywhere. We hope to return after Christmas to book a special function for next year, and we're sure the team will take great care of us. General Manager, you have a wonderful team. We managed to thank most of them, but please let everyone know how pleased we were with our stay. Best wishes, Kim and Brian Brame

I had superb duck on my last visit. The food is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. It's a lovely hotel near the place where I have meetings now and then, and the staff always make me feel welcome. Recommended if you're in the area.

We can't wait to celebrate here next year with our renewal of vows. For our ninth wedding anniversary, we stopped in for a quiet dinner, and every course was delicious. The staff were polite and friendly, and the service was superb. They're a real asset to the hotel.

We had Christmas dinner at Astley Bank Hotel on Christmas Eve, and the six of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I wasn't especially comfortable with the seating, but it was still a very pleasant experience and the dinner was really good.

Mary is amazing and always sorts everything out for me, so every stay is 10/10. I come back to Astley Bank regularly and will keep visiting Darwen and staying here. Much recommended to everyone!
