After a long walk, my friend and I stopped in for a well-earned drink. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, and there was a great choice of drinks. The locals were friendly too, and there's a pool table. I'd definitely recommend it.

Sunday afternoons are a nice, relaxed time here, with free pool and the jukebox. Saturday karaoke is worth joining in with, and the owners and staff are always welcoming. I always love coming to The Railway. It's 10/10 every time!

When I went on a Saturday afternoon, it was a very loud, male pub, and the beer selection was terrible unless you like lager.

The beer prices are really good compared with Portsmouth, where I'm from, and I've enjoyed every visit. It's a welcoming place, with friendly locals, tucked down a cobbled lane by Dawlish train station. Whenever I'm in the area, I pop in, and I'd recommend it.

Room 3 was clean and comfortable, with a window that opened, and the toilets and in-room washbasin were clean too. But Room 5 has no ventilation, and there was loud music until 11.00, which nobody mentioned when I booked. It's in a good spot for the station, high street and sea. If you need a room in Dawlish and can put up with the noise, it may be okay. I won't be returning.
