Denham Grove Hotel

We stayed overnight and had a lovely time. The rooms were very clean, parking was included, and the staff were so friendly. The food was amazing too, apart from the smash burger, which was a bit dry. Alicia at the bar came across as a little rude and didn't seem much of a people person.

The room was a good size, the bed was comfy, and there were plenty of plug sockets. The check-in team were friendly and helpful, and parking was plentiful and included. I knew when I booked that the hotel was a bit in the middle of nowhere, but that didn't bother me. Breakfast had a good selection and was very nice, though I didn't have dinner at the restaurant. The bathroom was the serious problem. The heated towel rail was leaking rusty water and leaving a brown mark on the floor. That wasn't major on its own, but the bath and shower felt dangerous. There was no bath mat or grab rail at the end of the bath where you'd get out, only anti-slip marks near the taps. As I was getting out, I slipped while half in and half out. The tiled floor and flimsy towel gave me nothing to grab onto. I cut my lip, bruised my forehead, cut and bruised my arm, bruised my leg, and ended up with terrible hip pain. I emailed the hotel from my meeting that day. I didn't hear back until 10pm the next day, when they asked me to fill out an accident form. That was too late in the evening. There should be a warning sign or a grab rail at the end of the bath. The accident put a real downer on my three-night business stay. I was in too much pain to use the pool, and the hotel still hasn't acknowledged it any further.

The food was fresh, tasty, and amazing quality, and our room was comfortable and luxurious. The venue had lots of options and tailored our event exactly to what we wanted for my 50th birthday. The staff were a fantastic crew, offering relaxed and attentive service throughout. I'd happily use Denham Grove again.

Kashish made our arrival easy, handling check-in smoothly and answering all our questions patiently. She was warm, efficient, and calm, and took care of every detail. Her genuine hospitality and proactive approach helped us feel welcome and comfortable without any fuss. She's a real asset to the hotel and deserves plenty of appreciation for her service.
