The staff at reception and the housekeeping team were lovely, friendly people. We had a quiet stay on Friday and Saturday, and the hotel was handy for both Manchester city centre and the Trafford Centre. Our room was clean, with a comfortable, neatly made-up sofa bed and tea and coffee facilities. Having a bath was especially useful with our 18-month-old grandson, rather than only a walk-in shower. We stayed for two nights last weekend as Storm Amy arrived, and would definitely recommend it.

The team were friendly and helpful, with that usual Northern hospitality, and I’ll be back. The only minor issue was some damp in the hallway. It wasn’t very noticeable once you’d moved away from that spot, and they were already working to sort it out. Otherwise, the room was warm and comfortable, clean, tidy, and well laid out.

We checked in at 3.30pm on 4/10/25. The room and hotel were really clean, which was a nice surprise, and the receptionist was so friendly. A lovely guy also carried our huge amount of luggage up the stairs. Thank you!

The room looked shabby, including the paint and woodwork, and there were several problems in the bathroom. The floor was uneven underfoot, as if lino had been laid straight over bare earth. There was rust around the bath plughole and tap fittings, and the hairdryer sparked and smoked when I switched it on. It could easily have caught fire if left running. The staff were helpful, but all they could do about these issues was apologise. Pretty poor for a Premier Inn.

The staff really went the extra mile here, as they always do at Premier Inn. They were amazing at handling all my questions and requests. Very impressed, and much appreciated!
