The staff made the biggest impression on me. They were amazing and showed what great hospitality looks like. It was my first stay at a Hilton, while my family and I were flying out for a winter holiday from East Midlands Airport. The food was excellent, and the rooms had everything I wanted and more. I was really impressed.

We stayed last night for my fiancé’s Christmas work party. Check-in was warm and friendly, and they even gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco. We had a relaxing swim before the evening event. It’s a beautiful hotel, and breakfast was amazing. The rooms and their furniture are very dated, though, and need a major update.

The food was good, the staff were lovely, and I enjoyed the swimming pool. The room was much too hot, and the air conditioning took ages to help. We couldn’t leave the window open to sleep because the motorway was in sight.

The showers were hot with good pressure, and the rooms were okay for a night before flying from east miss. My one gripe with Hilton's is the dim mood lighting. Please give us a big light in the room.

This room is much better than the one I had a week ago, even though it cost a lot more. If you stay here, don’t let them put you in room 400. The bathroom was the only nice part of that room.
